This 4-page download contains two simple board games, one to drill multiplication facts and one to drill division facts — both in a fun way! If I give my kids edible tokens to move around the board, like Necco wafers or butterscotch discs or marshmallows, etc…, they’ll play over and over and over until the candy is gone. This 3-page printable file contains all of the multiplication tables up through the 12’s, as well as a large bookmark that contains all of the multiplication tables. These are a great reference for young kiddos new to the times tables! I print the small times tables on different colors of paper, then laminate them, punch a hole in the top left corner and thread a key ring through them to make a handy reference chart. My kids use the times tables bookmark in their math textbooks.

This 42-page file includes everything you need to play The Grocery Game with your kiddos! Math games are the best way to get kids voluntarily practicing difficult concepts — just like a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down. This game adds an element of competition, some funny scenarios to get you all roaring with laughter, and a couple of sneaky maneuvers to keep everyone guessing. Your children will barely realize they’re multiplying and adding decimals!
The grocery prices in this game aren’t easy. There are almost no nice, round numbers, so your children will get plenty of practice. The twists in the game give the slowest players opportunities to win, regardless of their computation speed. My 4th and 5th graders have no trouble playing this. If you’re looking for decimal addition instead of multiplication, try ‘The Grocery Game‘, which is just like this one, but without multiplication.

Your kids will master equivalent fractions, adding and subtracting fractions, the written and visual forms of fractions, and they’ll understand exactly why fractions with larger denominators are actually smaller than fractions with smaller denominators.
