These print and play preschool math games will make teaching (and learning) shapes and colors effortless and fun!
As your child learns to discern the similarities and differences between colors and shapes, she is building the skills she’ll needs to recognize the differences between letters and numbers later. Shape and color recognition is a foundational math skill.
This 18-page printable includes all of the basic shapes and colors, plus games and playing pieces to learn them thoroughly in fun and exciting ways. 7 different games are provided, but each can be played in multiple ways and on multiple levels.
Print and play math games make teaching (and learning) effortless and joyful.
Materials required: Just these printer, ink and paper. You will probably want to laminate these printables for repeated use.
Age range: I use these printables from about age 3+. You could start younger and use them longer, as toddlers are fully capable of learning shapes and colors, but I find picture books and nature to be more engaging to babies and toddlers.
